The Philosophy

Frescoes, paintings, sculptures, reliefs and temporary exhibitions - the ARTE HOTEL in Perugia  is endowed with the work of contemporary Italian and foreign artists. Their art is not only characterized by its originality, a “new” moment regarding culture, reflection and keeping updated, but it is also an expression of the current ‘concretism’ which puts art back into  daily use, during  conventions,  meetings and holidays.
Here, art is lived at the present moment, deprived of its “frame” as  “other” element, relegating it to an occasional choice. In offering contemporary art, the ARTE< HOTEL has intended  to enrich its own polyvalent structure of unforeseen emotional involvements. Its proprietors believe in the importance of high-quality personalization regarding all expressions of the “inhabitable” form which adds to the clients’ well-being.
The owners have already adopted the same concept  in another hotel in Spoleto, the ALBORNOZ PALACE HOTEL, convinced about the vitality of contemporary visual communication. This hotel has also become an important museum of modern art, where the artworks are all rigorously  painted directly on the walls. Its works contribute to the enhancement  and harmony of the interior spaces, without seeming out of place in the architectural context.
